Supplier Assessments

Supplier Assessments

Supplier Assessments evaluate the supplier/ sub-contractor ability to satisfy the needs of Customer or the requirements of specific Projects. A key element of the Supplier evaluation is the Supplier Quality System Assessment, a fact-based evaluation of suitability of the supplier Quality Management System leading to the supplier approval and, ultimately, to the “preferred supplier” status.

Supplier Assessment should take under consideration the expectations of various internal key departments (“internal customers”) with direct interest in Supplier’s capacity and capability, product design and evaluation, delivery performance, technology and intellectual property, process planning and control methodologies, logistics and communication, quality management system, etc.
